Belgard Victorian Pavers: The Color, the Lines That Carry It and Where It Works

Last Updated on October 20, 2026 by Umar Farooq

Belgard Victorian pavers aren't a product line. Victorian is a color blend: a grey base streaked with tan, rust and charcoal. Belgard puts it on about 15 of its paver lines, including Holland Stone, Catalina Grana, Dimensions, Origins, Dublin Cobble, Charlestone and Mega-Arbel, plus several walls, caps and fire pits. So "Victorian pavers" can mean a 4 × 8 brick, a 24 × 24 slab or an irregular flagstone look. Which one you get decides whether it can go on a driveway. The color is sold in the western US: California, Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, the Southwest and the Mountain West. You can read more in the guide to circular driveway dimensions.

I went through Belgard's product data one line at a time, pulled every swatch labelled Victorian, and ran zip codes through the region lookup on Belgard's site to see where each one is sold. I also looked at the Victorian swatch photos for Holland Stone and Catalina Grana side by side, which turned out to matter.

Cambridge Cobble and Weston Stone use a slightly different "Victorian Blend". For step and wall pieces, Victorian also appears on Landings steps, Melville and Highland Stone walls, and the Anglia edger. That makes it one of the few colors you can carry from the driveway to the seat wall without switching palettes.

The Lowe's listing that ranks for this search, a "Providence" Victorian paver, isn't in Belgard's current product data. Treat any retail Victorian listing as a clue to ask about, not a spec.

Where Belgard sells Victorian

Every Victorian swatch in Belgard's data is tagged to western regions. The zip codes I tested map like this:

  • Southern California and southern Nevada: Holland Stone, Catalina Grana, Dimensions, Origins, Mega-Arbel, Dublin Cobble, Avalon Slate.
  • Northern California and Hawaii: Holland Stone, Catalina Grana, Dimensions, Mega-Arbel, Avalon Slate, Aqualine.
  • Pacific Northwest and Montana: the longest paver list, including Plaza Paver and Urbana Stone.
  • Colorado, Utah and Idaho: including Holland Stone, Dimensions, Origins, Charlestone and Dublin Cobble.
  • Arizona and New Mexico: Holland Stone, Catalina Grana, Charlestone, Origins Antiqued, Mega-Arbel.

Nothing I tried in the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest or Texas returned a Victorian swatch. If you've fallen for a Victorian patio photo and live in Ohio, the fix is a sample from a local blend with the same grey-tan-rust mix, not a truck from California.

Same name, different look on each line

If I had to give one rule for Victorian, it would be this: never match it across lines from the name alone. When I compared Belgard's swatch photos, Holland Stone in Victorian reads as a speckled grey with orange-tan patches and a visible aggregate. Catalina Grana in Victorian is smoother, flatter and warmer, with whole units leaning rust. The mechanism is simple. The surface finish, the mix and often the plant differ from line to line, and every one of those changes how the pigment reads.

So if the plan is a Catalina Grana patio with a Holland Stone border, both "in Victorian", put a sample of each side by side in daylight before you order. Pull from several pallets during laying too, because a blend this busy shows a single-pallet patch from across the yard.

Patterns and uses that suit the blend

A multi-tone blend hides dirt, tire marks and a few stray joint-sand stains better than a solid grey. It also competes with busy patterns. Some pairings that work:

  • Driveways: Holland Stone at 3 1/8 inches in 45-degree herringbone. Belgard's own driveway pattern guide calls herringbone at 45 degrees to the garage "the strongest and most traditional option".
  • Patios: Catalina Grana or Dimensions in their modular patterns. The larger units give the color room to read as stone rather than confetti.
  • Borders: a single dark color such as Charcoal around a Victorian field. That calms the blend down without fighting it.
  • Joint sand: a tan or grey polymeric sand picks up one of the blend's tones. Our gray vs tan polymeric sand guide covers how to choose.

Mega-Arbel and the Plaza Paver are rated only for foot traffic, so keep them off anything with an engine. Belgard's product data states that plainly for both. Sizes for every line are in our Belgard paver dimensions guide.

Sample first, then match by line

Belgard Victorian pavers are one color spread across very different shapes, ratings and regions. Pick the line for the job first: Holland Stone or Catalina Grana under a car, Dimensions or Mega-Arbel on a patio. Then check that the region you're in sells that line in Victorian, and compare real samples before you mix lines. The color is forgiving to live with and unforgiving to guess. For Catalina specifically, our Belgard Catalina pavers guide has the full size and pattern breakdown.
